Business Manager, CCFS

Gwendolyn Hougham’s role as Business Manager is to track the financial position, prepare financial analyses and reports related to external funding from government sponsored contracts. Other responsibilities include providing supervision for fiscal staff and working closely with Human Resources staff in the Center for Child and Family Studies (CCFS) and developing internal procedures for CCFS to ensure effective, efficient operations.

Her team’s role is to process and reconcile expenditures for activity related to the contracts from government sponsors and provide HR Generalist Support to Center employees.

Ms. Hougham has 20 years of Financial Accounting and reporting experience, ranging from health care, carrier service, risk management and retail industries. Her most recent role was as an Accounting Manager with a non-profit organization in Columbia.

She earned her BS in Accounting & Finance from Marymount in Tarrytown, NY and her MBA from Dowling College in Oakdale, NY. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.
