Suzanne Sutphin, PhD

Research Assistant Professor

Suzanne directs a variety of research and evaluation projects at the Center. In her position, she serves as the supervisor for the Quality Assurance and Training evaluation team. She and her team of research associates and graduate assistants analyze and report on all of the South Carolina Quality Assurance data for the Department of Social Services. They also develop and analyze evaluations for trainings, including child welfare basic training, and conferences.

Suzanne has been a researcher at CCFS for the last nine years. In this capacity, she has focused on research and program evaluation in the areas of child welfare and kinship care.

She has a PhD in Sociology where she studied legitimated social inequality.
