Yvette Sapp, BA

 Economic Services Trainer   

Yvette Sapp is an Economics Services Trainer who works as part of a team that delivers training to the Department of Social Services’ Economic Services staff.  Yvette serves as a subject matter expert of the SNAP and TANF programs and she serves as a member of the Fair Hearing review committee to ensure that decisions accurately reflect and comply with SNAP/TANF policy and procedures.

Yvette has twenty-nine years of experience in Social Services and has served DSS in a number of capacities, including Case Manager, Supervisor, and a Program Coordinator in the TANF policy area.

Yvette obtained her BA in Psychology with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from the College of New Rochelle and is currently enrolled in the Master’s of Educational Technology Program at UofSC Columbia.  Her mission is to create a stimulating learning process and a learning environment that will facilitate trainee engagement.
