Quality Assurance Reviewer

As a Quality Assurance reviewer, Kellena analyzes DSS cases to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements with a focus on outcomes related to safety, permanency and well-being for DSS counties.  In those cases, she identifies strengths and areas needing improvement.    

Kellena’s team is a mixture of child welfare, mental health and educational professionals.  Everyone has their own unique experiences relating to child welfare and brings something special to the table. We all take pride in our roles as a QA Reviewers and are always trying to obtain perfection in all we do.

Kellena has worked in Child Welfare since October of 1993 with the Department of Children and Families in Connecticut.  She has worked as a social worker in adoptions, investigations, foster home licensing, supervisor & QA reviewer.  She briefly worked with Richland County DSS.
