If you try to login to your email or Windows account several times with the wrong password, the University system will temporarily lock down your account. The only way to get around this is to change your password using another computer in the office. When your password is reset you will be able to login to your workstation.

Here's what you will need to do:

  1. Go to another computer and launch Internet Explorer or Firefox.
  2. Go to VIP https://vip.sc.edu/idlogin.html
  3. Enter your USC ID number and pin.
  4. On the following screen click on Technology to the left.
  5. On the next screen click Network Username. This is where you will change your password.
  6. Wait a few minutes and try to login to your original workstation.

That's it you are done.

iPhone/iPod Touch Configuration: Please use these instructions for iPhone devices to setup your University E-mail. If you are using an iPod Touch, you can also use these directions once you have access to the wireless network. These instructions are very similiar to the way Droid is set up, which uses 'Corporate Sync' rather than displaying Exchange Account as an option.  If you are using Droid please contact IT and we will assist until we make further instructions.
