Katrina D. Hunter

Economic Services Trainer


Katrina serves as a trainer for the Economic Services Training Team, which provides training for workers who assist with administering temporary financial support to families. The team uses active learning techniques to facilitate learning and encourage mastery of all training topics.

Katrina has several years of experience providing training for adult learners and continuous quality improvement (CQI) for organizations through her previous work as Early Care and Learning Specialist for Community Connection of Northeast Georgia and Technical Assistance Coordinator for Savannah Technical College. In addition, Katrina is an Approved Trainer II for the Georgia ECE Professional Development System and a Certified Trainer for the Program for Infant/Toddler Care (PITC).

She holds two bachelor’s degrees of Science, one in Child and Family Development and one in Airport Management.

Her mission is to utilize innovative strategies to improve the learning experience of those committed to making an impact in the lives of children and families.
