In addition, she and her training partner update training with new and updated policy, review all pre-work to strengthen training in areas of learner weakness, develop interactive activities to keep participants engaged, and create targeted study guides to help address gaps in learner knowledge. She will also be working to incorporate new methods to use in training to create a positive learning experience.

Doris obtained her bachelor’s degree of science and her master’s degree in Individual and Family Development Social Work, both from South Carolina State University. She has twenty-one years of experience in various specialties at the Department of Social Services, in both Economic and Human Services.

Doris’s passion is helping others in their pursuit of continued self-sufficiency. Her goal is to continue advocating for vulnerable adults because she believes that everyone deserves a chance to live their best possible life. She finds being an Adult Protective Services Training and Development Director deeply satisfying in striving for her goals.
